Katy Karrenbauer
Katy Nina Karrenbauer (born December 31, 1962 in Duisburg ) is a German actress , voice actress , singer and author . She became known to the general public through the role of Christine "Walter" in the television series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast .
Life
youth
Katy Karrenbauer grew up in Kiel . At the age of twelve she sang in the school choir ; At the age of 15 she began classical singing training as a mezzo-soprano and learned to play the guitar. Karrenbauer also sang in various Kiel rock bands and wrote his own songs from the age of 14. Karrenbauer left school at the age of 17, began training at the drama school in Kiel and took acting lessons from Uta Grabowski.
