Gerit Kling (born April 21, 1965 in Altenburg ) is a German actress and voice actress .

life and career

Kling grew up together with her sister, the actress Anja Kling , who was five years her junior , in Wilhelmshorst near Potsdam . Her father was the studio manager at the DEFA studio for documentary films in Babelsberg until 2007 , her mother is an art teacher. At the age of five she first appeared in front of the camera for Konrad Wolf's film Goya . From 1982 she completed an acting degree at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . Before she and her sister fled to the West via the former ČSSR shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall , several theater engagements followed, for example at the Deutsches Theater Berlin , the Brandenburger Theater and the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin ; After the fall of the Wall she did engagements at the State Theater in Nuremberg and in the Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin as well as for numerous television series in which she made a name for herself in the roles of a doctor. Two of these doctor roles are those of the emergency doctor Dr. Maren Maibach , who from 1996 to 2001 in the ZDF - rescue  and  action series The Rettungsflieger played, and the station doctor Dr. Jasmin Jonas , who she has played in the ZDF police series Notruf Hafenkante since 2007 . At the Störtebeker Festival on Rügen in 2006 she played the Countess von Dooren.

Gerit Kling has a son (* 1996) from a 12-year relationship with Matthias Wien . Kling was married to a doctor from 2001 to 2016. In 2016 she married the financial advisor Wolfram Becker for the second time.
