Offroad.TV is a German action television series that was broadcast by ARD in 2001 .

Beginning with the television film Britta in 1977, series and films by Berengar Pfahl have repeatedly depicted the lives of young people and dealt with their living conditions, as in this production.

A reporter team from the broadcaster Offroad.TV with team boss Mike, presenter Nadine, cameraman Diego, mechanic Paul Ludwig and intern Laura is commissioned to make reports from all over the world. The series takes you to places of impressive natural events and scenes. The reporters also report on extraordinary people. The crew experiences action-packed adventures.

A new concept for the series was to broadcast the reports not only on television but also on the Internet on the website www.offroad.tv . The website was partly designed as if the station really existed. It was extensive and also provided background information on what was actually happening. This website was closed in 2006.

Charisma

The series was broadcast weekly from October 22, 2001 until the end of the year with ten episodes of 50 minutes each on the ARD's evening program in order to counteract the station's drop in ratings between 19:00 and 20:00. This also succeeded insofar as the third episode was seen by more than 3 million viewers. The series was then abandoned in favor of shorter formats.
