Dirk Plönissen

Dirk Plönissen is a German actor . He was born in 1967 as the youngest of three sons of a businessman in Gelsenkirchen-Horst . For many years he was an altar boy in his local parish of St. Hippolytus . His enthusiasm for acting was already evident during his school days. He received his training at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts , and he is the winner of the ARD chanson competition 2000.

In Germany he is known to TV viewers from the series Siska , Himmel und Erde and Offroad . He also starred in individual episodes of other series Tatort and Der Alte as well as various television films. He also played the leading role in various theater productions in Bremen and Essen. From 2007 to 2008 he played Wolfgang Maria Bauer's assistant in the television series Siska.

Plönissen has been the station voice of the ARD radio program Bremen 4 for many years .

Plönissen also lends his voice to the character King Varian Wrynn from the well-known multiplayer online game World of Warcraft .

In 2014 he founded "ACTit! Seminars Plönissen & Wehlte", a further education concept that combines acting techniques and sociological role theory.
