Inflagranti is a television film from the television crime series Tatort by ARD , ORF and SRF . The film was produced by Radio Bremen under the direction of Petra Haffter and broadcast for the first time on December 28, 1997. It is the 376th episode in the crime scene series and the first case for Commissioner Inga Lürsen ( Sabine Postel ).
action
Building contractor Peter Broders is found dead in the sauna of his home. Commissioner Inga Lürsen is supposed to investigate this murder case because Broders was obviously prevented from leaving the sauna and he suffered a circulatory collapse in the end. It took Lürsen some time to find out that someone had pushed a large armchair in front of the door in such a way that it could no longer be opened. The alibi of the wife Nicole Broder, who was demonstrably out of the house, is void because the time of the act does not coincide with the time of death. The wife has a strong motive because her husband was violent and she had a lover. According to her statement, her husband knew about it and would have had to put up with it, since he too had a relationship with his secretary. Nicole Broders denies having killed her husband, but when asked by Lürsen, she admits that she secretly cleared the armchair away from the door because she assumed that her boyfriend pushed it in front of the door. This suspicion is also reinforced for Lürsen when she learns from Broder's eight-year-old son Jan that he claims to have seen Achim Keitel kill his papa. Shortly afterwards Jan disappears and Lürsen has to assume that Achim Keitel kidnapped him to get the main witness out of the way. There is a large manhunt for the boy and reports in the media that should help to find Jan in time. Meanwhile, Keitel is observed by Lürsen and her assistant Stefan Stoll and, strangely enough, behaves very inconspicuously. Little do you suspect that the boy deliberately laid this false lead. He himself had pushed the chair in front of the sauna door because he was afraid of his father and also afraid that he would hit his mother again. He could not have suspected that this would end like this. In his emotional conflict of being to blame for the death of his father, he found the way out to pass everything on to his mother's lover, whom he saw as an intruder into the family. In addition, in his understanding, he took away his mother. Now he has also run away and is on Keitel's company premises. When the night watchman notices the boy, he calls his boss, who immediately goes to the port. He also sees Jan and tries to get him to come home, but Keitel flees and climbs on high scaffolding. Lürsen and Stoll watch helplessly as Keitel climbs after the child. Lürsen assumes that Keitel is following Jan and tells him to stop. So she fired a warning shot that frightened Keitel so much that he fell from the scaffolding and died. Stoll can now bring Jan back down undamaged.
Lürsen reproaches himself about the outcome of the case, in addition, it is not completely resolved for her with Keitel's death. She asks Jan again, who admitted to having pushed the armchair in front of the door after his father scolded his mother and him from the sauna and threatened to punish him.
