Beate Jensen

Beate Jensen (born October 18, 1958 in Kiel ) is a German actress .

Life

After training at the Hochschule der Künste in Hamburg, he worked at the German Schauspielhaus Hamburg.

For her first leading role in the feature film Mitten ins Herz by Doris Dörrie , she won two prizes.

Since then she has made films in Italy, Switzerland, France and Spain.

These were shown at festivals in Europe, Asia and the USA, including the psychological thriller The Kiss of the Tiger by Petra Haffter , Long Winter Days by Ivo Barnabò Micheli , and The Lovers of the Arctic Circle by Julio Médem . From 2005 to 2007 she was a visiting professor at the HFF Konrad Wolf in Potsdam- Babelsberg , and in 2006 she also worked as a visiting professor at the Ludwigsburg Film Academy .

Beate Jensen is married and lives with her two children in Berlin .
