The film tells of Mr. Sommer, who, as a courier for a Berlin law firm, distributes money to Zurich numbered accounts. When he clashes with his client, Feuerberg, he makes a run for it, but in his boarded getaway car meets the deceived and therefore suicidal Werner, the husband of Feuerberg's lover Teresa.
