Urs Remond

Urs Remond (born October 12, 1964 in Neukirchen-Vluyn , Germany ) is a Swiss actor and director .

Life

Urs Remond spent his childhood and early youth in Cameroon . At the same time as he went to high school in Switzerland, he completed classical dance training . After graduating from high school , he studied acting at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater .

Remond initially wrote scripts and plays . Later the focus of his artistic activity was on acting. In 1990 he directed a theater production of Dracula at the Hebbel Theater in Berlin based on his own adaptation of Bram Stoker's famous novel. He also directed several music videos . In 2008 he wrote the screenplay for the film Love Makes You Sexy .

His enduring career on German television began in the late 1980s . Remond took on several continuous series roles, recurring episode roles and guest roles.

Remond achieved notoriety above all through his continuous series lead roles. In the RTL - TV series Ghostbusters John Sinclair he played Bill Conolly. Remond also took over for RTL from the fourth season of the action series Medicopter 117 - Every Life Counts from 2001 the role of the emergency doctor Dr. Mark Harland.
