Hartmut Griesmayr

Hartmut Griesmayr (born April 18, 1945 in Bad Berka ) is a German director and screenwriter .

Live and act

Griesmayr spent his childhood in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. In 1970 he graduated from the University of Television and Film in Munich . In the following years he directed smaller series for Bavaria Film . This was followed by filming for Das kleine Fernsehspiel des ZDF.

Griesmayr directed numerous Tatort films, his first participation in 1978. He was also the director of Aufachse , Der Alte , Polizeiruf 110 , Peter Strohm , Mit Leib und Seele and numerous television films, for example Stan Becker - Without if and but (2001) and A novel in development (1975). The latter is one of his greatest successes himself. In collaboration with his partner Ute Geber, who was often his assistant director, he also wrote numerous scripts, of 36 stories for Der Alte there were 21 collaborations.
