Christoph Dietrich (* 1954 ) is a German radio play director .

Life

Christoph Dietrich grew up in Essen and Düsseldorf and after graduating from high school, studied mathematics, German and history in Münster and Berlin . From the mid-1980s he worked as a freelancer for the cultural programs of the Sender Freies Berlin and RIAS , as an author, producer, dramaturge and music editor. Since 1994 he has worked as a freelance director and editor for DLR and ARD with a focus on radio plays , children's radio plays , features and reading. He has also been producing audio books since 2005 .

In addition to his work as a director, he also works as a lecturer in the field of "microphone and media speaking" at various drama schools and advanced training institutions - including at the Berlin University of the Arts , the "Konrad Wolf" University of Film and Television , the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig , the University of Drama "Ernst Busch" , at the Institute for Drama, Film and TV Professions and at the "Coaching Company" Berlin.
