Institute for Acting, Film and Television Professions

The Institute for Acting, Film and Television Professions (ISFF) is a public-law institution at the Volkshochschule Berlin Mitte for further training of film and television professionals, actors and musical performers who have completed their professional training.

The institute was founded in 1997 and cooperates with film productions, professional associations and important institutions in the industry. It is headed by Jutta Wiegmann, who has been a continuous jury member for the Grimme Prize since 2005 . The institute is one of the largest certified advanced training institutes in Germany . In addition to further training, emphasis is also placed on referral. The Grimme Institute and the ISFF lead annually, the joint event "Grimme meets the industry" alternately in Berlin and Munich through.
