Werner masts

Werner Masten (born April 23, 1950 in Meran , Italy) is a film director and screenwriter from South Tyrol .

Masten first studied law in Italy before moving to Germany to study at the University of Television and Film in Munich . For the film adaptation of Joseph Zoderer's novel The Luck When Washing Hands , his first film outside of university, he received the Adolf Grimme Prize with gold in 1983 . From then on, he shot numerous German television films and series such as Aufachse , Liebling Kreuzberg and Our Teacher Doctor Specht and also directed a few movies.
