Luv und Lee is a seven-part family series on German TV broadcasting from 1990. It was directed by Hans Joachim Hildebrandt and the screenplay was written by Jens-Peter Proll and Rolf Neuparth .

The working title of the series was "The Pilot".

In the series, the sisters Gerit Kling and Anja Kling stand together for the first time in front of the camera.

action

The focus is on Captain Arends and his wife Renate, a doctor, as well as their two sons Holger and Sven. After a long trip and home leave, Werner Arends has a medical examination. There he is prescribed a cure, which he then starts after initial resistance. Then he makes the decision to take off and become a pilot.

The series takes place in 1990 before and after monetary union and shows the upheavals in the working world around the port and shipping operations in Rostock.
