Manfred Gorr

Manfred Gorr (* 1953 in Merseburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Gorr attended the Leipzig Theater Academy from 1974 to 1978 and made his stage debut in 1978 at the Rostock Volkstheater , where he also worked as a director. In the German rock opera Rosa Laub he took on the role of Karel at the premiere in 1979, where he also appeared not only as an actor, but also as a singer. After various roles in television films and series of the DFF , Gorr also played in several DEFA films in the 1980s . In 1989 he took on a leading role in the crime film The Participants . Even after the fall of the Wall , Gorr was seen on television, mostly appearing in series.

In addition to appearances in film and television, Gorr is primarily active as a theater actor and director. He received engagements at the Herkuleskeule Dresden , the Central Saxon Theater Freiberg, the Hessian State Theater Marburg and the Berlin pincer, among others . As part of the Störtebeker performances on the open-air natural stage Ralswiek on Rügen in 1980 and 1981 he played the main role, the rebel Klaus Störtebeker . However, his main focus of work is Rostock: since the mid-1990s he has been regularly involved in productions by the Rostock Compagnie de Comédie , which specializes in comedies.
