occupation

Wilde Zeiten is a youth television series by ZDF from 1997. Three friends open their own discotheque .

action

The three friends Kabea, Dennis and Ingo have a common dream: They would like to open their own discotheque in Berlin . An old transformer that their friend Max is offering them seems to be the ideal place for it. First they have to assert themselves against a lot of hostility and even sabotage, but eventually their discotheque becomes a popular meeting place for young people. They receive support from Grandpa Grünwald, who takes care of the hospitality of the guests with other residents of his old people's home.

background

The series was an attempt by ZDF to attract young audiences to the evening program. Despite the well-known actors, the audience rating remained well below expectations. After seven episodes shown on Wednesdays in 1997, the station stopped broadcasting. Another six episodes that had already been produced were broadcast a year later in the morning program.
