Bernhard Bettermann

Bernhard Bettermann (born February 6, 1965 in Paris , France ) is a German actor .

Career

Bettermann received his training at the Zurich Acting Academy . In 1986 he made his stage debut at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg . He had his first small film role in 1989 in the film All out .

Since the early 1990s, Bettermann has been given regular roles and played in numerous feature films and television productions on German and Swiss television. He has participated in episodes of numerous well-known television series , such as Stahlnetz , Stubbe - Von Fall zu Fall , Der Alte , Siska or Tatort . In between, however, he also returned to the stage. In 2001 he played the leading role in the movie So Far Your Feet . Since 2006 he has appeared regularly on ARD in the television series In allerfreund as Dr. To see Martin Stein. In 2015 he played the role of the cemetery gardener in the series Heartbreaker - Father of Four Sons .

In the summer of 2019, the baritone took on the role of lawyer Viktor Komarovskij in the musical Doktor Schiwago at the Tecklenburg open-air theater .

Bettermann was married to the actress Sabina Schneebeli . They divorced in 2014. The marriage resulted in two sons, including the actor Tim Bettermann . From 2014 to September 2017 he and the actress Mimi Fiedler were a couple. In September 2015 both took part in the RTL dance show Stepping Out . They announced their engagement in October 2016, which was followed by the split and betrothal in September 2017.
