Tim Bettermann

Tim Bettermann (* 1991 in Zurich ) is a Swiss - German actor .

Life

Tim Bettermann was born the son of actress Sabina Schneebeli and actor Bernhard Bettermann . From 2002 to 2011 he received vocal training with the Zurich Boys' Choir and at the Unterstrass High School in Zurich . After graduating from high school , he went to New York City , where he received an acting training at the William Esper Studio from 2012 , which he completed in 2014. He then got a role in the Spanish independent film Isla Bonita by director Fernando Colomo , which premiered at the Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián 2015.

In 2015/16 he embodied the role of Jesus in the play Krach im Haus Gott under the direction of Nikolaus Büchel at the Kempf theater guest performances , at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau he performed in Braver Soldat Johnny under the direction of his father. At the Hamburger Kammerspiele in 2017 he was seen in Zorn by Joanna Murray-Smith in a production by Harald Clemen as Joe.

Among other things, he had leading roles in German films Halt! Come on! (2017) by director Moritz Becherer and in the Austrian feature film Ein wilder Sommer - Die Wachausaga (2018) by Anita Lackenberger , in which he played the role of Kurt. In 2018, he was seen in the role of Tom in the miniseries Servus Baby of Bayerischer Rundfunk . For the episode Irritations of the ARD series In all friendship , he stood in front of the camera for the first time with his father in 2020.
