Matthias Zahlbaum

Matthias Zahlbaum (* 1959 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Matthias Zahlbaum initially trained as a stage carpenter. From 1981 to 1985 he studied at the "Ernst Busch" Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and had engagements at the Berliner Ensemble and the Deutsches Theater . Further stations of his stage career are and were in particular the Theater am Kurfürstendamm and Theater 89 . From 2012 to 2014 he played the role of the good fellow in the Jedermann productions in the Berlin Cathedral .

Zahlbaum's first job in front of the camera was on television in the GDR in two episodes of the Polizeiruf 110 series . Since 1990 he has been seen frequently as a guest actor in numerous series. He portrayed recurring characters in the series girl friends - friendship with heart , two men at the stove and Einstein Castle .

In addition, Zahlbaum also worked as a radio play speaker in some productions of the radio of the GDR and in the dubbing. He lives in Berlin.
