Feuerwache 09 is a 7-part series about everyday work in a fire station. It was produced by the German TV Broadcasting Corporation (DFF) and broadcast in November and December 1991.

The series describes the experiences of members of the eponymous fire station 09 in the Berlin district of Köpenick . The topics of the individual episodes are fire fighting, the search for missing people, but also problems with subordinates and superiors within the workforce.

Fire station 09 was the last series production of the DFF. It ran weekly on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. Well-known episodic actors included Christel Peters , Ernst-Georg Schwill , Susann Thiede , Katarina Tomaschewsky , Lutz Riemann , Irma Münch and Klaus Gehrke .
The Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk repeated the series in 1996.
In a poll of the readers of Feuerwehr-Magazin for the most popular firefighting series in December 2016 , Fire Station 09 was ranked 3rd behind Chicago Fire and Emergency California .
