Customers and Other Disasters is a television series that was produced and broadcast in 2003. The series depicts events behind the scenes of a Hamburg department store.
Step- sisters Lisa Fischer and Hannah Franke work in the posh Hamburger Hof department store . Lisa works as a saleswoman for women's clothing, Hannah as assistant to the managing director Udo Mannheimer. Lisa soon made a leap forward professionally and became head of women's clothing. Things are not going well privately, however, because she discovers that her husband Karsten is cheating on her. Charlotte Franke, Lisa's mother and Hannah's stepmother, is also employed at the Hamburger Hof . She is the head of tailoring. Her grandson Jojo often spends the afternoons with her and disturbs her at work. Udo Mannheimer, son of the founding family, recently took over the management and management of the 400 employees. He grapples with the tabloids, tries to keep his dominant mother in check, and has to fight a power struggle with corporate management.
