Daniela Hoffmann (born April 3, 1963 in Berlin ) is a German actress and voice actress .
Life
Daniela Hoffmann was trained at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig and at the drama school in Berlin. Her first film role she had in 1982 at the DEFA - Musical Zille and ick in the lead role of Henriette "Jette" Kramer . In 1985 she played the role of Marita in the DEFA feature film Ete and Ali alongside Jörg Schüttauf . In the following years she appeared in both feature films and television productions such as Polizeiruf 110 . Although she achieved a certain popularity and was considered a Kesse bee on duty , she left the GDR in 1989.
Professionally, she appears primarily on television, played leading roles both on public television ( Dr. Sommerfeld - Neues vom Bülowbogen , Neues vom Süderhof , Die Hollies and Happy Birthday ; also again Polizeiruf 110 ) and in the private sector ( Schizo ) . Theater work is also important for Hoffmann. She has already appeared on such renowned Berlin theaters as the Berliner Ensemble , the Metropol-Theater , the Maxim-Gorki-Theater and the Tribüne .
But what is best known is her voice. Since 1988 Daniela Hoffmann has lent her voice as a voice actress among others Julia Roberts , Jamie Lee Curtis , Ally McBeal actress Calista Flockhart and Ellie in Ice Age 2 , Ice Age 3 , Ice Age 4 and Ice Age 5 . It can also be heard frequently in commercials ( Sheba , Deutsche Bank , Jade and others), for example during announcements at Cologne / Bonn Airport . Daniela Hoffmann is also the speaker for the audio books for Diana Gabaldon's Highland saga.
