Fritz Göhler
Fritz Göhler (born January 19, 1926 in Leipzig , † April 13, 2007 in Berlin ) was a German television film and radio play director .
Life
Fritz Göhler worked from 1947 to 1954 as an actor, dramaturge and director at several theaters, including in Rudolstadt and Eisenach , before he switched to radio. Göhler was one of the most productive radio play directors of the GDR radio and dedicated himself particularly to the use of original commissioned compositions in his pieces. In addition to guest productions at radio stations in Prague , Warsaw , Stockholm , Brno and Vienna , Göhler also worked as a guest director on television and on the record.
He has received several radio play awards, including for the production of A Tulip, a Stone, a Sword . After the end of GDR radio, he worked, among other things, for the radio play editorial offices of ORB and DLR Berlin .
Fritz Göhler died on April 13, 2007. The funeral took place on May 2 in Berlin.
