Radio play calendar

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The radio play calendar was a monthly broadcast by Deutschlandfunk , which from 1996 to December 2009 provided information on the latest developments in radio art on the Saturday evening after the radio play at 8:05 p.m.

The first edition of the radio play calendar was broadcast on April 20, 1996. The program was moderated by Frank Olbert (culture editor at Kölner Stadtanzeiger ), who was among other things a juror for the radio play award for the war blind . Usually three topics were discussed, on which interviews and excerpts from the radio play productions concerned ran. At the end of the program there was a news overview.

The radio play calendar was discontinued by Deutschlandfunk at the end of 2009 without prior notice.

Since February 2010, Deutschlandfunk has been broadcasting the Cinch magazine on the same slot , which is moderated by Michael Langer.
