Hans Siebe

Hans Siebe (born February 12, 1919 in Berlin ; † 2001 ) was a German writer .

Life

Hans Siebe attended elementary school and then an agricultural boarding school . He worked as an inspector in the cattle industry. Siebe took part in the Second World War as a paratrooper in the Wehrmacht ; he was used in Poland , Norway and on the Eastern Front. After 1945 he carried out various activities, including a. he was a bookseller , tenant of a farm and truck driver . From 1970 he lived as a freelance writer in East Berlin .

Hans sieves published in 1965, numerous novels and short stories , mostly the genre crime and adventure novels are attributable and especially in the popular publication series Blue Light and The new adventure appeared. In addition, he wrote espionage stories for the narrator series of the GDR military publisher , which were distributed in large numbers. Siebe was also the author of numerous radio plays for radio in the GDR and of scripts for crime films and taunts for GDR television .

In 1980 he was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze.
