Heikedine Körting

Heikedine Petra Körting (born June 18, 1945 in Jena ; also Heikedine Körting-Beurmann ) is a German radio play producer .

Life

Körting was born in Jena and grew up in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck , where she lived with her parents in the listed Gate of Hope . She studied law in Geneva and Hamburg . In addition to her work as a lawyer, she worked as a fashion designer and as a small actor in cinema productions such as Slaps by Rolf Thiele , Arabella and Die Brücke von Remagen .

In 1963, Körting met the later co-founder of the audio play label Europe , Andreas E. Beurmann , whom she married in 1979. In 1966 Beurmann founded the Europe label together with the American entrepreneur David Leonard Miller . This specialized in the recording of classical music concerts and the production of radio plays for children. In 1969 Körting wrote her first scripts for radio plays, the fairy tales The Snow Queen and The Little Mermaid based on Hans Christian Andersen . Beurmann then gave her production orders for the implementation of the scripts. Your first main production was Das Gespensterschiff . In 1973 Körting was given sole responsibility for the radio play productions in Europe , which she still holds today.

Körting has produced over 2,000 radio plays, including classics like Die drei ??? , TKKG , Five Friends and The Horror Series by HG Francis . She was awarded over 180 gold and several platinum records . Under the pseudonym Pamela Punti , Körting herself speaks small roles in her own radio plays. Today, Körting's focus is on series such as Die Drei ??? and TKKG , which she now produces together with André Minninger . The Körting-Beurmann couple leased the manor house and the buildings around the courtyard of the Kultur Gut Hasselburg . They founded the Hasselburg cultural group, which organizes classical concerts in the manor house. They are also involved in the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (SHMF) . The venue for the SHMF concerts is the Reetscheune at Kultur Gut Hasselburg. Körting is on the board of the Stahlberg Foundation , which owns the Kultur Gut Hasselburg. The manor and especially the manor house were also used as a film set in the 1980s, for example for the series The Legacy of the Guldenburgs and for the controversial sex film Exzesse auf der Schönheitsfarm .

Awards

In 1984 Körting received the first and only European Radio Drama Director's Prize for her exceptional services to the Europa brand . She donated the 10,000 Deutsche Mark prize to Deutsche Kinderhilfe . The laudators were the actors Horst Frank and Claus Wilcke . The award was organized and awarded by the label itself, as there was no adequate public honor for great success in the radio play sector. Körting has been listed in the Guinness Book of Records as Germany's most successful fairy tale aunt since 1985 . In July 1986 a special rose named Märchenkönigin (Kordes-Rosen) was bred in honor of Körting .

In 2011, the main people responsible for the series The Three ??? Awarded 100 gold awards on the occasion of the 150th anniversary event, including several platinum awards.
