action

The contract killer Dekker wants to stop killing. However, he accepts a particularly well-paid assignment from the entrepreneur Al Zidzyck. Dekker is supposed to kill Zidzyck's drug addict wife Jain and her baby.

Dekker breaks into Jain's apartment, but finds the woman attractive and personable. Dekker becomes undecided what to do. Jain gets a visit from her sister Kiki. Dekker kills Al Zidzyck and defends Jain from another hit man.

Reviews

Cinema 7/1992 wrote that the film started out as a " routine thriller " but then it involuntarily got weird. He is heavy on dialogue. Forest Whitaker's portrayal was praised as " brilliant ".

Jack Sommersby wrote on efilmcritic.com that the film gave neither Forest Whitaker nor Sherilyn Fenn an even remotely interesting opportunity to play (" Gives neither Whitaker nor Fenn anything even remotely interesting to play ").

Awards

Roy London was nominated for the Deauville Film Festival Critics' Award in 1991 .
