Sherilyn Fenn
Sherilyn Fenn (actually Sheryl Ann Fenn , born February 1, 1965 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actress .
Life
Sherilyn Fenn is the youngest child (after two older brothers) of Arlene Quatro, the sister of the musician Suzi Quatro , who left her sisters' band in 1968 to raise their children. At the age of 17, Sherilyn Fenn moved to Los Angeles with her mother , where she studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute .
Her film career began unspectacularly with a few B-movies , including Interceptor (1986), Zombie High (1987) and Two Moon Junction (1988). In the film As a boy she is great (OT: Just One of the Guys; 1985) she played a small supporting role. Sherilyn Fenn became famous when David Lynch gave her the role of hot-blooded Audrey Horne in his TV series Twin Peaks in 1989 . Fenn was nominated for the Golden Globe and Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a television series for this role . In Lynch's film Wild at Heart (1990), she also had a brief appearance as a woman involved in a car accident. In 1992 she starred in the Steinbeck film version Of Mice and People (director: Gary Sinise ).
Her next role was the title role in the badly received film Boxing Helena , directed by David Lynch's daughter Jennifer Lynch . Kim Basinger had previously turned down the role despite an initial acceptance, and the film was also not conducive to Sherilyn Fenn's career. She continues to work continuously, but has mainly starred in television films since then. She achieved success with the lead role in the television series Rude Awakening - Only for Adults! (OT: Rude Awakening; 1998–2001).
She appeared in a supporting role as Anna Nardini in the television series Gilmore Girls from 2006 to 2007 , after appearing in another role on the series in 2003. In 2005 she took on the lead role in the thriller Don't trust a stranger . In 2014 she played the recurring role of Donna Cochran on the television series Ray Donovan . She was also seen in a permanent guest role in Shameless in 2016. In 2017 she appeared again as Audrey Horne in the sequel to the Twin Peaks series .
Sherilyn Fenn was married to Toulouse Holliday from 1994 (December 4) to 1997, with whom she has a son (Myles, born 1993). Immediately after her success in Twin Peaks, she appeared on the front page of US Playboy in December 1990 . The booklet contained an article about her, which was illustrated by a few nude photos of her. In 1991 she was included in the list of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by People magazine .
