Reviews

Roger Ebert compared the film in the Chicago Sun-Times of April 29, 1988 with the " softcore video films " that Playboy and Penthouse would distribute. The " usual " plot is a " compilation of clichés ". Ebert scoffed that he would be considered a satirist if he described the plot in more detail. The biggest flaw of the film is that it takes itself seriously (" The film's major flaw is its earnestness "). Ebert wrote that he " loved " the film at the age of 15 .
