Deborah "Debi" Mazar (born August 13, 1964 in New York City ) is an American actress , make-up artist and former dancer .

life and career

Debi Mazar grew up as the daughter of an immigrant from what was then the Latvian SSR in the New York borough of Queens . Her father came from a Jewish family, but was raised Roman Catholic , her mother was also raised Roman Catholic.

Mazar started her career as a break dancer in New York. In 1984 she made her first television appearance on the hip hop dance show Graffiti Rock . She appeared as a dancer in four Madonna videos. In several films she had major supporting roles, such as Henry Hill's lover in Good Fellas - Three Decades in the Mafia or as Spice from Sugar & Spice on the side of Drew Barrymore in Batman Forever . In the television series Civil Wars , she had one of the leading roles as Denise Ianello from 1991 to 1993 . After the end of Civil Wars , her role was taken over for the 1993/1994 season in the series LA Law - Star Lawyers, Tricks, Trials . In the 1993 film A Family Called Beethoven , she played the role of Regina . Mazar was also seen in various, sometimes recurring roles in the series Friends , Living with Fran , That's Life and Entourage .

Mazar married Gabriele Corcos in 2002. They have two children together.
