Entourage is a feature film by director Doug Ellin from the year 2015 and is based on the eponymous television series . The main characters are Kevin Connolly , Adrian Grenier , Kevin Dillon , Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven . In addition, numerous prominent people have guest appearances.

action

The action begins shortly after the series ends. Vincent Chase's marriage failed after nine days and he celebrates his divorce with friends on a yacht in the Mediterranean . At the same time, Ari accepted the offer from Warner Bros. and is now the director of the film studio . He offers Vince the lead role in the first film Hyde under his control, but he only agrees on the condition that he can also direct.

Eight months later the film is almost finished, but Vince has already exceeded the budget of 100 million US dollars and needs even more money to finish the film. At the same time, however, he initially refuses to show Ari the rough version of the film because he thinks it is not yet perfect. So Ari goes to Texas to visit the film financier , the eccentric billionaire Larsen McCreedle, and to persuade him to make a margin. Larsen, however, demands that his son Travis go to Los Angeles to attend a private screening of the film at Turtle's house.

The “private screening” turns out to be a party with several hundred guests (including Emily Ratajkowski , Pharrell Williams and Bob Saget ). Eric is still separated from Sloan, but he takes great care of his ex-girlfriend, who is now heavily pregnant , which is why his current girlfriend Melanie has just left him. Drama wants to cheer Eric up and secretly gives him stimulants and sexual enhancers , so that Eric, contrary to his habits, has a one-night stand . Turtle, in turn, has fallen in love with MMA fighter Ronda Rousey and invited her to the party, where he impressed her with his acquired wealth. Vince and Emily develop feelings for each other, and Drama also finds a friend at the party.

When Ari arrives at the party with Travis, who is also immediately taken with Emily, Vince gets more and more nervous and finally cancels the screening. However, he gives Travis and Ari a DVD each so that they can watch the film privately. After watching the film, Ari realizes that the film is good and goes to sleep with peace of mind. The next day, however, Travis comes to Ari with "notes" and demands substantial changes to the film before recommending his father to invest more money. In particular, Johnny drama part is to be completely removed from the film, although even Ari is of the opinion that the drama has delivered the best acting performance of its career. Vince and Eric then meet with Travis to change his mind; but without success. Time Warner boss John Ellis has since noticed the problems with Ari's first project and withdraws the film project from him. Meanwhile, Travis McCredle even demands that Vince be replaced and that the film be shot from scratch.

Eric is meanwhile informed by phone from his ex-girlfriend Melanie that she is pregnant. At the same moment Sloan reveals to him that she can imagine another attempt with him, which Eric does not reply due to his state of shock, so that Sloan now withdraws, offended. To make matters worse, his party acquaintance Jennifer turns up at the subsequent meeting with Melanie and claims that she has herpes . The whole thing turns out to be an act of revenge shortly afterwards, since Melanie and Jennifer are roommates.

Meanwhile, Lloyd tries to convince Ari that he can celebrate his wedding in Ari's house, since Ari is now like a father to him. The stress puts another strain on Ari's marriage and he has to go to marriage counseling with his wife again .

But Turtle also has concerns: Ronda has invited him to breakfast, but Turtle has let Drama convince her that she can only be interested in him on business. Turtle therefore only makes marketing suggestions for fitness clothing and products, so that Ronda throws him out insulted. In an attempt to convince Ronda of his true intentions, Turtle finally offers a fight in which she injures his arm.

In the meantime, a video has also surfaced on the Internet showing drama while masturbating . This was uploaded by the betrayed friend of Drama's party acquaintance after the affair was exposed. Drama then loses another role and his career seems to be over for good.

The friends eventually find out that Travis is jealous of Vince because of Emily and wants to sabotage him because of it. With this knowledge, Ari makes his way to Santa Barbara and blows up a project meeting in Ellis' private house, in which Ari's future should also be decided. He confronts Travis with his knowledge and has Larsen McCreedle remove Travis from the project because he has endangered the investment . At the same time, however, he demands Ari's dismissal, as Ari again did not respect his son. To solve the dilemma, Ari resigns from his post and becomes an agent again. In return, Vince is allowed to end the film project.

Ultimately, Hyde turns out to be a huge hit, with even Drama receiving a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. Emotionally overwhelmed, he roars his famous victory cry from Viking Quest instead of a speech of thanks .

In the epilogue Lloyd celebrates a Jewish wedding in Aris Garden, where he by George Takei married is.
