Alan Dale
Alan Hugh Dale (born May 6, 1947 in Dunedin , Otago ) is a New Zealand actor .
Life
Dale moved to Australia in 1979 . He became known through the Australian soap opera Neighbors , in which he played the role of family man Jim Robinson from 1985 to 1993 . He left Australia and moved to Los Angeles , where he has since appeared in various television series. Dale was married in New Zealand for ten years. In the second marriage he has been married to the former Miss Australia Tracey Pearson since 1990 .
