Constance A. Zimmer (born October 11, 1970 in Seattle , Washington ) is an American actress .
life and career
After high school, Constance Zimmer studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena .
Zimmer's career began with a few commercials . This was followed by his first minor guest appearances in the television series Seinfeld , The X-Files and King of Queens . She eventually got bigger roles over longer periods of time in the series In Justice , Boston Legal and Entourage . She has also appeared in several independent films . In May 2012 she took on the lead role in Danny DeVito's post-apocalyptic thriller St. Sebastian . In 2013 she also starred in the series Grey's Anatomy .
Zimmer has been married to director Russ Lamoureux since 2010 . On January 5, 2008, the couple had their first child together, a daughter.
