Mona Seefried (born March 30, 1957 in Vienna , real name Mona Seefried-Funck ) is an Austrian actress .

life and career

Mona Seefried is the daughter of the opera singer Irmgard Seefried and the violinist Wolfgang Schneiderhan . She completed her acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and studied singing, classical dance, jazz and show dance. From 1977 to 1980 she worked as a theater actress at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg . From 1980 to 1985 she was a member of the ensemble of the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin under the direction of Boy Gobert .

Great notoriety she gained through her portrayal of Charlotte Saalfeld , one of the main roles in the ARD - telenovela Storm of Love , which they played throughout September 2005 to May 2018. However, they took as Charlotte Saalfeld always a time out to take on other tasks, such as for shooting the ORF - crime series SOKO Donau . On March 12, 2018, Seefried announced her final withdrawal from the successful stelenovela, in which she was part from the beginning.
