A class of its own (full name: a class of its own - stories from a boarding school ) was a German family series that was first broadcast on ZDF from November 27, 1984 to June 18, 1985 . The 25-part television series was directed by Frank Strecker . The script was written by Peter M. Thouet .
action
The series takes place in a boarding school , which is housed in a castle . There are interpersonal and school problems that are solved by the community.
The picture is drawn of rebellious adolescents, some of whom are still in puberty, and who are concerned about their lives and their future. The young people stand for the West German protest culture of the 1960s, 1970s and the beginning of the 1980s and come across parents and teachers who cannot or can only partially follow them. Last but not least, this fact leads to the conflicts mentioned above.
