Marga Engel Strikes Back is a German comedy film directed by Helmut Metzger from 2001 . It is the pilot of the three-part ARD series Marga Engel with Marianne Sägebrecht in the title role of a Bavarian cook. It was first broadcast in Germany on March 14, 2001.

Cook Marga Engel works in a Bavarian country inn. The topping-out ceremony for her new house, which she had built, ends in tragedy for Engel because it is only here that she realizes that she was the victim of fraud by the Ohrmann construction company. Angry about the injustice that happened to her, she drives to the company's headquarters in Leipzig .

The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm pointed with the thumbs up and gave two points for humor and one of three possible points for suspense. They summed up: "Revenge is not only sweet, but also funny".
