Thomas Schmuckert

Thomas Schmuckert (born April 1, 1965 in Wuppertal ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Career

Thomas Schmuckert took part in an acting seminar at the Theaterforum Kreuzberg from 1987 to 1989. He then studied from 1990 to 1992 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . At the same time he took acting lessons from Michael Schweighöfer at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. As a performer, Schmuckert first appeared in 1990 as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet . This was followed by further theater engagements at the Landesbühne Hannover, at the Berliner Kammerspiele and most recently on the Vaganten stage . In the RTL television series Westerdeich , Schmuckert played the role of Manni Kaminski throughout, three episodes in Hinter Gittern Dr. Tobias Lindner and in the hospital series For all cases Stefanie he gave the episode lead role Hilmar Teschke.

In addition to his work as a theater and film actor , Schmuckert also works as a voice-over and dubbing actor as well as radio play and audio book speaker. He has already lent his voice to Gideon Emery ( 24 , CSI: NY , Eleventh Hour - last second ), JR Bourne ( Teen Wolf , The Secret Circle ), Mehcad Brooks ( True Blood ) and Ryusei Nakao ( Dragonball Z Kai ).

Thomas Schmuckert was a member of the board of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS) until August 16, 2016 and has been an elected member of the advisory board of the Society for the Exploitation of Ancillary Rights (GVL) since 2012 . He represents the group of actors and artistic lecturers.

Thomas Schmuckert headed the German Actor Award until 2016.
