Tsugumi Ōba (alternative spelling : Tsugumi Ohba , Japanese. 大 場 つ ぐ み , Ōba Tsugumi ) is a Japanese manga writer, whose best-known work is Death Note . It is unknown whether Ōba is a young author or the pseudonym of a well-known author, partly because, despite the success with his first work Death Note, he was not nominated for a prize as the best young artist by his publisher Shūeisha or anywhere else.
