Marco Göllner
Marco Göllner (born October 19, 1971 in Herford ) is a German radio play director , radio play producer, author , speaker and musician .
Life
Göllner is a state-certified social worker (degree in media education) and worked for regional radio (including WDR) before, during and after his studies. Since 2000 he has spoken in various radio play productions. His first original radio play Open the Door followed in 2005 . Since 2006 he has been a freelance radio play director, author and sound producer. From 2008 to 2013 Göllner was responsible for the script, direction and production of the radio play series Dorian Hunter .
Between 2016 and 2018 Göllner often spoke the intros in the podcast series Fest & Flauschig by Jan Böhmermann and Olli Schulz .
Awards
Göllner was a prize winner at the Leipzig Book Fair 2008 with his radio play In Stranger Gardens . Many of his productions have received the radio play award in various categories. In March 2010, his radio play adaptation Die Geisterseher, based on the novel by Kai Meyer, was recognized by the critics as “Best Single Radio Play 2009”. Göllner himself received the award for “Best Director 2009” for his work on Dorian Hunter . In addition, Marco Göllner's series Goldagengården was honored as “Best Series” and he was honored with the 2011 Ohrkanus for “Best Director” . Together with Kai Meyer he won the Vincent Prize for The Ghost Seers 2009, The Winter Princess 2011 and Loreley 2012.
