Dorian Hunter is a radio play series produced by Zaubermond-Audio . It has been produced continuously since 2008 and is based on the magazine series Demonenkiller by the Austrian authors Ernst Vlcek and Kurt Luif , which was published from 1973 to 1977.

history

After Europe had set five demon killer radio plays to music in the 1980s , Nocturna Audio re-produced the first episode in 2007, but was only allowed to sell it until the end of the year due to a legal dispute.

Since 2008, the series has been reissued by Zaubermond Verlag under the title Dorian Hunter . Marco Göllner worked as a director and script writer until episode 24 . Dennis Ehrhardt has been directing since episode 25 . He also wrote the script for the anniversary episode, and Andrea Bottlinger is responsible for this from episode 26 .

action

The plot was transferred to the present for the radio play series and the characters were adapted accordingly. Individual templates are implemented more freely and enriched with new threads of action. The title and order of the novels have been changed.

Trivia

  • In April 2013, Dorian Hunter's first radio play crossover to another series of radio plays was realized with Dorian Hunter episode 21 “Autumn Wind” . Episode 83 "A Life Among the Dead" of the radio play series Geisterjäger John Sinclair is identical in content to the Hunter episode 21, but both episodes tell the story from the point of view of the other.
  • In episode 25, the well-known German cabaret artist Dieter Hallervorden has a guest appearance as Dr. Faustus.
  • Regina Vlcek, the longtime wife of the Hunter author Ernst Vlcek , has a guest appearance as a tourist guide of the same name in episode 12.
