Friderikke-Maria Hörbe, born Weber (born January 16, 1971 in Berlin ) is a German film and theater actress .

Life

Friderikke-Maria Hörbe was born in Berlin in 1971. Much of her childhood she grew up in Hauteroda , a small village in Thuringia . She attended the polytechnic high school (POS) "Erich Weinert" in Oberheldrungen and the extended high school (EOS) "Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe" in Roßleben . After high school she studied in Erfurt at the Pedagogical University "Dr. Theodor Neubauer “two semesters of mathematics and art education . After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, she first went to southern Germany and, after a year-long internship at Karl-Schubert -Werkstätten und Wohngemeinschaften e. V. in Aichtal for two semesters in painting at the Free Art School in Nürtingen . She went back to Berlin and worked there as a model. After studying acting at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam - Babelsberg , today's Babelsberg Film University , she first appeared at various theaters in Meiningen, Stuttgart, Frankfurt / Oder, Leipzig, Berlin and starred in various films and series . This was followed by a permanent engagement at the Leipzig Theater for several years . There she worked with directors such as Michael Thalheimer , Karin Henkel , Johanna Schall and Wolfgang Engel and played many roles. Since then she has worked freelance as an actress and teaches at various art schools as a teacher of Drama. In March 2020 she was appointed professor for ensemble work and role design at the Max Reinhardt Seminar at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna .

Private life

Friderikke-Maria Hörbe is married to the actor Alexander Hörbe , she lives with her husband and daughter in Berlin and Vienna. Her brother-in-law is the actor Olaf Hörbe .
