Marga Engel does not give up is a German comedy film by Karsten Wichniarz from 2004 . It is the third and last film of the ARD series Marga Engel with Marianne Sägebrecht in the title role of a Bavarian cook. It was first broadcast in Germany on December 28, 2004.

Cook Marga Engel is now working in a children's home that is about to be closed, behind which the clever building contractor Siegfried Ohrmann is once again. Ohrmann wants to have a health clinic built instead of the old villa in which the children's home is located. Together with the children of the home, Engel is doing everything possible to prevent it from being closed.
criticism
The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm pointed their thumbs to the side and gave one of three possible points for humor. They summed up: "Pretty lean, the laughs at Marga".
