Rüdiger Nüchtern (born April 11, 1945 in Dietramszell ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

After studying theater and German language and literature, he enrolled at the Munich University of Television and Film (HFF) in 1968 . Rüdiger Nüchtern also made music films. In 1970 he went on tour with a music group ( Subject Esq. , Later renamed Sahara ) and his HFF thesis, "Come Baby". At the same time he became a founding member of the film publishing house of the authors . During this time, Rüdiger Nüchtern made short films and documentaries.
