Gottfried Richter (actor)
Gottfried Richter (* 1947 ) is a German actor , dubbing and radio play speaker .
Life
During his acting training at the Leipzig Theater Academy , Gottfried Richter received his first leading role in the DEFA film Unterwegs zu Lenin in 1970 . After graduating, he got his first engagement at the Volkstheater Rostock at the age of 23, but did not stay there for long. In 1974 he moved to the Schauspielhaus Leipzig , where he was on stage for 15 years and mainly played youthful roles. From 1987 to 1989 he had guest engagements at the Dresden State Operetta and began to work at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin at the same time. Here he played ten years and had a great success with the role of Randle Patrick McMurphy in 250 performances of the play One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest . From 1999 to 2012 he was an actor at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin , where he played, among others, The Wild Duck by Henrik Ibsen and again One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest . In 1999 he got to know the ensemble of Klassik am Meer in Koserow and was there among others in Maria Stuart . To experience Emilia Galotti and The Conceited Sick . He had other theater engagements in Graz, Klagenfurt, Vienna, Rudolstadt (2008/2009), and Heilbronn.
In addition to his theater work, he was also active for film and television in front of the camera and as a voice actor. He appeared in several radio plays for the radio.
For several years Gottfried Richter was the life partner of the actress Ursula Werner .
