Peter Lee Lawrence

Peter Lee Lawrence , actually Karl Otto Hyrenbach and Thieme (born February 21, 1944 in Lindau (Lake Constance) , † April 20, 1974 in Rome ) was a German actor who was mainly seen in spaghetti westerns .

Life

Lawrence first lived with his mother in Nice and could be seen in Fotoromanzi , for which he used the name Pierre Clement . In 1965 he appeared in a supporting role in Sergio Leone's For A Few Dollars More ; later he played the hero roles in the Spanish and Italian western productions. In the early 1970s he also appeared in horror and crime films. In some productions he also appeared under the pseudonym Arthur Grant .

After he was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 1972 , he died on April 20, 1974. He had been married to the Spanish actress Cristina Galbó since 1969 . The couple lived partly in Tahiti, in Zurich and in Rome.
