Ulrike Mai
Ulrike Mai (born January 6, 1960 in Dresden ; nee Kunze ) is a German actress and voice actress .
Life
Before starting acting, Ulrike Kunze completed an apprenticeship as a bookseller in Dresden. She then studied from 1978 to 1981 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . From 1981 to 1984 she was engaged on various occasions at Magdeburg's municipal theaters , after which she was on stage in Halle an der Saale until 1987 . From 1987 she was part of the DFF ensemble .
In addition, she worked in the dubbing for a few years and lent her voice a. a. Miroslava Šáfranková , the title role Arabella in the Czech series The Return of the Fairytale Bride .
Since her marriage to Jürgen Mai in 1987 , she has also performed professionally under the name Ulrike Mai .
Ulrike Mai was seen from 2005 to 2007 in the Sat.1 - Telenovela Verliebt in Berlin in the role of Helga Plenske .
In the 2007/2008 season she directed the play Der Kontrabass at the Komödie Dresden and was directed by her husband Jürgen Mai in Ferienheim Bergkristall - guests, crooks and ghosts (with her former ViB colleague Lara-Isabelle Rentinck ) and ELIXIR - The musical itself on stage.
