Under white sails - spring fever

Under White Sails - Dreams on the Horizon is a German television film by Gero Erhardt from 2006. The sixth and last part of the television series Under White Sails was broadcast for the first time on March 24, 2006 in the program Das Erste . Guest actors include Sigmar Solbach , Daniela Ziegler , Sanne Schnapp , Dorothea Schenck , Bernhard Schir , Martin Weinek , Lars Gärtner and Ankie Beilke . Gerit Kling embodies Saskia, the cruise manager, and Horst Janson the captain Bernd Jensen.

The Star Flyer under her captain Bernd Jensen is on a cruise to the beaches of Southeast Asia. The doctor Dr. Moritz Fink and his wife Wilma. Both want to visit their son Wolfgang, who is working on the renovation of the world-famous Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia . Despite the heavenly surroundings and the luxurious life on board, Moritz Fink is sullen and irritable and offends his wife several times. Eventually, it turns out that he lost his job just before leaving. It wasn't until Dr. Fink saves the life of the young actress Luise Steiner in an emergency operation under difficult conditions, his self-confidence is returning. When he arrived in Cambodia, he spontaneously decided to start over there with his wife and work as a doctor.

The fun-loving Beate, bosom friend of the actress Luise, meets the awkward and unsporting physicist Karl on board. He torments himself with sports exercises during the trip, because his company demands physical fitness from the employees. The shy Karl changes under Beate's influence and boldly tells his company that his strengths lie in areas other than sport. Finally, the relationship between Karl and Beate leads to a spontaneous wedding on the Star Flyer.

Cruise manager Saskia has two problems during this trip. One of the fellow travelers is her former love Holger Mertens, whom she has never been able to resist. And Holger secretly smuggled the little dog Emma on board.
