Gero Erhardt
Gero Erhardt (born February 17, 1943 in Berlin ) is a German director , screenwriter , cameraman and producer . He is the son of the actor Heinz Erhardt and the father of the actor Marek Erhardt .
Life
In 1966 and 1967 he worked as a camera assistant in the comedy The Certain Something of Women (with Nadja Tiller , Romina Power , Heinz Erhardt and Zarah Leander, among others ) and the crime film When It Gets Night on the Reeperbahn (with Erik Schumann and Fritz Wepper, among others ) With.
In the 1970s he worked as a cameraman for various television series and television films, for example The Case from Next Door (1970-1975), Tadellöser & Wolff based on the novel of the same name by Walter Kempowski (with Jesper Christensen among others ). In 1971 and 1977 ( Tatort - The Girl at the Piano ) he worked as a cameraman for episodes of the Tatort television series .
In 1973 he had his only appearance in front of the camera as an actor in the television film Der Ziegelbrenner based on a novel by Horst Bosetzky . A year later he was back behind the camera in the television thriller Der Springteufel , in which Dieter Hallervorden and Arno Assmann played the leading roles.
In 1978/79 Gero Erhardt worked with his father Heinz Erhardt on the television version of his comic opera Noch 'ne Oper , which was written in the 1930s. In 1979, the year Heinz Erhardt died, this TV version was broadcast by ZDF , with many famous colleagues such as Paul Kuhn , Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff , Rudolf Schock , Ilse Werner and Helga Feddersen taking part . Gero Erhardt acted as cameraman in this production; since his father could no longer speak because of a stroke , his voice from previous radio recordings was added.
Gero Erhardt continued to work as a cameraman until 1982 (including in the ZDF television film Luftwaffehelfer in 1979 ) until he made his directorial debut with the comedy A Somewhat Weird Lady with Lilli Palmer . Since then he has worked exclusively as a director with his wife, assistant director Jutta Erhardt. The couple lives in Hamburg.
