Horst Janson
Horst Janson (born October 4, 1935 in Mainz-Kastel ) is a German actor .
Life
Horst Janson is the son of a law officer. He grew up in Mainz , Bad Soden and Wiesbaden and was already active in performances at his school as a pupil. In 1951 he took acting lessons at the Genzmer Drama School. He then appeared in the drama Lorenzaccio at the Wiesbaden State Theater . He was best known as Morten Schwarzkopf in the 1959 film adaptation of Die Buddenbrooks .
His breakthrough had Janson 1968 with the ARD television series somersault in which it the trapeze - artists embodied Sascha Doria. In 1970 he starred alongside Charles Bronson and Tony Curtis in the English-American cinema production Zwei Kerle aus Granit .
He became known to a wide audience through the television series Der Bastian (1973). Around the same time, Janson appeared with Die Zwillinge vom Immenhof (1973) and Spring on Immenhof (1974) alongside Heidi Brühl in the late sequels of the Immenhof films from the 1950s. Horst Janson took part in numerous English-American productions, including Steiner - The Iron Cross II alongside Richard Burton and Robert Mitchum and the Irish-British war film The McKenzie Break ( outbreak of 28 ).
In the early 1980s he appeared as "Horst" on Sesame Street . In 1998 he played the Old Shatterhand in Bad Segeberg and in 2001 the Old Firehand . At the Süddeutsche Karl May Festival in the Western City of Dasing near Augsburg , he played Old Shatterhand in Der Schatz im Silbersee in 2006 and in the two following years he was seen as Old Firehand together with his daughter Sarah-Jane in Dasing . Also in 2009 Janson appeared as Old Firehand in Winnetou and Captain Kaiman at the festival.
In 2004/2005 he played a captain in the ARD television series Under White Sails . In September and November 2008 he could be seen as Pastor Lehmann in the ZDF telenovela Paths to Happiness . From December 2008 to January 2009 and from April to May 2009 he played in the ARD telenovela Sturm der Liebe Dr. Paul Wielander. Also in 2009, Janson played Jakob, who had dementia, in the film One Day .
Horst Janson was married to the actress Monika Lundi from 1973 to 1976 . With her he recorded the record We want it in 1975 under the production of Michael Kunze . This song was the German version of the Paul Anka hit Having My Baby . However, the single was not a commercial success.
Janson lives with his second wife and two daughters in Grünwald near Munich. According to information on his website, Janson was one of the most famous German actors according to a GFK study from February 2002 .
