history
Until the church is planted
Archaeological findings suggest that there was a civil brick factory in the Laimering district in Roman times .
The oldest Germanic watermill north of the Alps to date dates from the year 696 AD , which was discovered in the Paartal near Dasing in 1993.
The Lords of Massenhausen settled in Dasing around 1317. The Wittelsbachers also had rich property very early on in the districts of Taiting, Rieden and Laimering. Dasing later belonged to the imperial abbey of St. Ulrich and Afra . In 1632, during the Thirty Years War , the local castle (see Burgstall Dasing ) in St. Franziskus went up in flames under the attack of the Swedes. The place was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark , which fell to Bavaria through secularization in 1803 . In the course of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .
20th century
