Aindling is a market in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg and the seat of the Aindling administrative community .

The place is known nationwide through the football club TSV Aindling , which played for several years in the fifth highest German league, the Bayernliga .

Until the church is planted

The emergence of the place is in the 6./7. Century. In 1033, Emperor Konrad II gave the Freising Bishop Egilbert the "Königshof Enilingun" (Aindling), located in the county of Count Udalschalk, with all rights and other affiliations. The market law ceremony took place in 1479. The market belonged to Rentamt Munich and Regional Court Aichach of the electorate of Bavaria .

20th century

The place Aindling had a market court with its own magistrate rights. In 1906 a district hospital was built, which was converted into a senior citizens' home after the district hospital was closed in 1991.

Religions

The Catholic parish of Sankt Martin in Aindling belongs to the deanery Aichach-Friedberg in the diocese of Augsburg. The parish also includes the Sankt Ulrich branch in Eisingersdorf , the Benefice of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Pichl and the villages of Appertshausen , Binnenbach and Edenhausen . In 2013 the parish had about 2437 Catholics.
Aindling is also the seat of the Aindling parish community, which, in addition to the Aindling parish of Sankt Martin, also includes the parishes of Sankt Ulrich and Afra in Todtenweis , Sankt Johannes Baptist in Alsmoos and Mariä Visitation in Willprechtszell . In 2013 the parish community numbered almost 5,000 Catholics.

Incorporations

On October 1, 1971, the previously independent communities of Gaulzhofen , Hausen , Pichl (with the towns of Edenhausen and Eisingersdorf incorporated on April 1, 1928) and Stotzard were incorporated into Aindling. Binnenbach was added on April 1, 1976 .

Town twinning
